Furnaces for Plasma Arc Melting of e. g. titanium alloys need helium or argon, as its melting process works under inert atmosphere. During this melting process the gas gets contaminated. But #helium is rare and not renewable. ReiCat also offers a special system for the recycling of helium: therefore, a quality 6.0 is obtained even with a previously much lower gas quality! Helium recovery during and after the melting is possible. Besides the #sustainability effect fluctuating gas availabilities can be avoided.
